Fall Creek Falls in the Fall...

Today Justin and I hiked Fall Creek Falls. It was wonderful compared to our last hike there... The temperature today was in the high 60s, and low 70s. We are used to doing this two point something mile hike in the high 90s. To make things even better, I made my mum's chili the night before and we got to eat warm chili on a picnic table before the hike.

The autumn colors were beautiful.
A tree along the trail.
Fall Creek Falls is suppose to be the tallest waterfall in the eastern United States. It's 256 feet high...
Fall Creek Falls through some lovely foliage.

The best view to give you an idea of these falls height.
It took us 1.5 hours to complete this trail. At the beginning (and end) of this trail is a cable bridge. It has a six person limit, and is really creepy. We ended up waiting ten minutes for a couple dogs to be dragged across it the first time, and the second time, we just walked under it (the water was mostly dried up.)
The evil cable bridge...
Overall, it was a lovely day, and it felt good to be out hiking.
