I:43 Agape Feast

Last night was the I:43 Agape Feast. I:43 is a college group that I help out with on Tuesday nights. My friends Jordan and Jessica are the pastors of the group.

Anyway, everyone was asked to bring a dish to pass. I brought lasagna, stuffing, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cake, and apple pie. It took be a day and a half to make it all, but I love baking! Here the photos of my desserts.

Last night we had an AWESOME turnout thanks to an AWESOME God! There were 105 people there. Fifteen people rededicated their lives to Christ, and there were even a couple first time salvation's! Here are a few pictures from last night:

I have been attending I:43 for a while now, but I met some new people last night.

For those of you who don't know, Justin and I didn't kiss on the lips until we were at the altar getting married. (At the top of this blog, underneath the name "The Modern Housewife, you can see a picture of our first kiss). We worked really hard for four years to keep our testimony of purity.

Back to the new people I met last night. One of the new people is a lady named Marshi. Every Friday she has group of young ladies come to her house and they have a Bible study, pray for each other, and have some girl time. Well, Marshi heard about Justin and my testimony, and wants me to be a speaker at her Bible study! I am so excited! I have always wanted to speak into the lives of younger girls! I love how good God is!

I also got the best compliment I could possible think of last night. Marshi and I were talking about being housewives, prayer, purity, and all sorts of stuff. She turned to Justin and told him how blessed he is to have married a virtuous woman like Proverbs! I certainly know I am not there yet, but it has been a goal of mine since I became a Christian to become a Proverbs 31 woman. To have someone see the beginnings of that in me is such a blessing to me!

God was so good last night. Between the compliments, the new people & opportunities, and the salvation's! I don't know that last night could have been any better.

God is so GREAT!
