Announcing: Baby Biddle!

Yes, it's true! I'm pregnant! My due date is December 6th.
As of yesterday, I am eleven weeks along!

This wonderful baby is very planned: we actually have been trying for almost a year; after a few doctors visits, and a lot prayer we got pregnant!

We found out on April 1st; early that morning I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! I started to cry because of what a struggle it was to get pregnant, and Justin kept asking me what was wrong. Well, last October I bought him a book that was all about babies but it was written in technical speech ("place pacifier in mouth port"). Anyway I had wrapped it up in "congratulations" paper and gave it to him. When he opened it, he knew I was pregnant! That evening when we told our families, no one believed us right away because it was April Fools day! It was too funny! I had to send them a picture of the positive test result before they realized we weren't fooling them!

We plan on finding out the gender of the baby on July 20th, and yes, we will tell people; but we're going to keep the name of the baby a secret until it's born.

It has been so hard to keep this quiet when all I have wanted to blog about is my sweet baby! Now I can! You've been warned.

  2. Ahh SO exciting!! Did you hear about my pregnant April Fools joke that went bad?? I said I was pregnant as a joke and when people realized it was a joke it had spread too fast and I had all kinds of people calling me and congratulating me and were so sad to hear that it was all a joke...won't make that mistake again haha. SO happy for you though! Congratulations!

  5. Congrats to you and Justin! I can't wait to be an aunt (well, step-aunt, but I'm going to get excited anyway)! And anytime you and Justin want a weekend in Chicago vacation, this is my extended offer to babysit :)
So very happy for you both, and your growing family!
